    Paia-Haiku as a

    Market

The North Shore of Maui has always attracted a certain type. Out of all the areas on Maui, the North Shore is perhaps the one that harks back to Old Maui. It’s less developed, more lush and rugged, and feels a little removed from the rest of the island. Those seeking to “escape” to a simpler and quiet life in Maui, to a home surrounded by lush tropical vegetation and absent the tourist hordes that can descend in the resort areas, may find their ideal Maui there.

The area is not all hippies and off-the-grid living; it also has incredible properties and the odd celebrity.

We will speak to three types of properties available here on the North Shore.

    • Check Single Family Homes
    • Check Lots

Perhaps the most famous restaurant on the North Shore, if not Maui, is Mama’s Fish House.

Maui’s North Shore is world-famous for both big-wave surfing and windsurfing. The world’s best flock to Maui for the ultimate test of skill and adrenaline rush when the big breaks turn on during the winter season. Jaws or Pehai is located offshore but is visible from nearby cliffs. On the other hand, the action at Hookipa Beach is easily accessible, with windsurfers and kite surfers using massive waves to launch themselves high into the air.
